It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

“It’s Monday! What are you reading?” is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at Bookjourney to share with others what you’ve read the past week and planning to read next.

Read since last week:

It’s been a bit of a slow week for reading, but that’s mostly because I’ve been struggling to get into stuff lately. I think I may have tried and failed on quite a few books again this week. I mean, even Dan Cohen’s Masters of the Veil had me stalled at around 20%. And I don’t think it’s that the book is uninteresting, I think it’s more that my head just isn’t in the mood for absorbing as much detail as Dan’s included in the book. I’m hoping to get back to that one at some point.

Here’s what I did finish:

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter (my review for this will go live tomorrow)

Mother’s Day Out by Karen MacInerney (my review for this will go live on Wednesday)

And onto Currently Reading:

Well, I did consider trying to pick The Glimpse back up again, just to see if it fared better after a break, but then I realised I’m just not in the mood for trying too hard.

So instead, I’ve headed back to the early 1900′s with:

It’s been sitting beside me for a couple of weeks now, and I’m more than ready for touch of wolfie goodness alongside a good old classic setting. Started reading last night. I’m only on page 43 so I’m unsure what I think of it yet, but I’ll be sure to let you all know.

And finally, my biggest hope to get to read this week is still:

:)

So what about you guys? What are you all reading this week?

    • I have that one on my TBR pile. A lot of books have seemed slow to me lately, but then others I’ll whizz through, so I can’t decide if it’s me or the book that’s the problem, lol.

      • Exactlly! People seen very poloarized on Firelight. I’m waiting until the end to give my opinion. You’ll have to read it and see what you think. :) I’d love to hear your view, your feedback feedback is usually spot on!

I love it when people talk to me. :o)
