Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicky @ Books, Biscuits & Tea. The aim of this event is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week. Happy Sunday, everyone.
I missed last week’s, but this is mostly due to the fact I’ve received so many books lately, I wanted to get through those before I added more to be TBR pile. And even this week, I’ve been seriously reserved.
Anyhoo, here’s my little SS:
BOUGHT:
Heard a lot of good stuff about this series.
Grabbed this one because I read a fantasy novel by this author and loved it.
Both these ‘bought’ books were freebies.
I was mega excited when this one finally turned up–especially as it was a few weeks late being dispatched. Shall be doing a buddy read of this next week, and I cannot wait.
GIFTED/WON/LOANED:
I received another fab parcel this week from the awesome Katherine Skye. One item was deffo a book, and another was more to do with the writing side of me but because I love it so much I’m going to share that here too.
This has received mixed reviews but it came highly recommended to me so I figured I’d check it out and decide for myself. The cover is AWESOME, all sparkly and hollogrammy and totally strokeable (yes, I do have a book stroking fetish, why?).
And this is my writerly item, a gift I believe I shall cherish forever. Not sure how well you can see without clicking on the image to make it larger, but all the charms are bookish-type objects, like a memo pad & pen, a pair of specs, books, coffee, typewriter, etc. It’s MEGA cool. That’s why I had to share.
FOR REVIEW:
Just happened to be a ‘nab it now’ on NetGalley, and I was very happy to be able to obtain a copy. Shall be reading & reviewing reeeeeeaaaal soon.
And that’s it.
What’s in your Showcase Sunday this week?

Lots of lovely books there! I loved Touch, it was one of my top books of last year. I’ve recently read Untouched, a novella, and it was just as good, so you have a treat instore.
Happy reading!
Jenny – Chocolate Chunky Munkie
I have Untouched ready on my Kindle, and I’m really looking forward to them both.
Thanks for stopping by.
Oohh I have Sunshine by Robin McKinley on my shelf. My cover is so not as nice as yours. Yours is shiny!!!! lol
It IS very shiny, lol. Came from the US, so I guess that’s why it’s different.
