Book Trailer Blast: The Infernal Detective by Kirsten Weiss plus #Giveaway

Welcome to the Nerd TRAILER Blast for THE INFERNAL DETECTIVE by Kirsten Weiss hosted by Book Nerd Tours!

THE INFERNAL DETECTIVE, the fourth book in the Riga Hayworth series, published by misterio press, will be available on Amazon May 21, 2013.
To promote the novel, the author created an alternate reality game – a virtual “novella” in the world of The Infernal Detective. The Infernal Detective video book trailer is the gateway to the game, which leads players through character blogs and a Pinterest board.
Hidden in the text are links to stories within stories, and a scavenger hunt for a “junk oracle.” The first fifty players to solve the game and report in to the author will receive an advance electronic copy of The Infernal Detective for Kindle, Nook, or Kobo.

When Riga Hayworth finds a dead body in her bedroom a week before her wedding, it’s par for the course. When the corpse drives off with her fiancée… That’s a problem.

Riga knows dead. More intimately than she’d like. So when a murdered photographer gets up and walks away, she’s believes there’s necromancy afoot. And when she discovers that several of her wedding guests are under the influence of dark magic, she’s certain. But how can she catch a killer and stop a necromancer when even her nearest and dearest are lying to her?

The Infernal Detective is a fast-paced, paranormal mystery, where nothing is quite as it seems, and magic lies just beyond the veil.

This giveaway is completely separate from the scavenger hunt mentioned above. You need not complete it to enter for this awesome prize from the author!

1 Winner will receive
1 – Infernal Detective T-Shirt in the size they prefer
1 – Infernal Detective Charm

Book Trailer Reveal: Finn Finnegan by Darby Karchut

I read Finn Finnegan a few weeks back and enjoyed it (my review), and so I was very happy when I got the email to participate in the trailer reveal. I was even happier when I clicked on the link to watch the trailer, because 1) it soooooooo represents the book unlike any other trailer I’ve seen, and 2) well, I just couldn’t stop smiling at the fun element of it.

Plus it has Irish music. And Irish music always makes me smile and feel jolly.

Check it out:

See? Told ya so. ;)

Book Trailer: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

It’s no secret that I LOVED Throne of Glass when given the opportunity to review by the Bloomsbury via NetGalley (can read my review HERE!). So I was pretty excited to see the Throne of Glass book trailer posted on Facebook by the author. Which meant I just had to race over here to share.

And here it is:

I have to say I like it. A lot. From the way they’ve stuck to the same kind of illustration as the cover (which I happen to adore), to the dramatic music. Yep. Liking it a lot.

What do you think?

Book Trailer: Surrender by Aimee Laine

I’m VERY excited about the upcoming release of Surrender by Aimee Laine, the second story in the Mimics of Rune series. So I’m also VERY excited to share the book trailer with you all.

Before I do, here’s a little about the book:

Face the past or look to the future? Both will hurt. One could kill her.

All her life, Lily Crane has supressed her childhood memories, masking the signs of abuse with a variety of looks. From brunette to blonde, tall to short — as a Mimic, changing shape is her gift. Her right. Her achilles heel.

It’s Lily’s latest likeness, chosen simply by accident, which threatens to repeat a history she’s desperate to forget. Worse, she must do so without the one man who takes all her pain away: Cael Aldridge.

Cael has no intention of leaving Lily on her own. He never has. Now, with the woman he loves in the hands of a predator who wants Lily for her genetics, Cael will do everything he can to bring her home.

Alive.

He can only pray he isn’t too late.

LOVE this book (yep, I’ve read an ARC)! And I LOVE the unconventional-ness of the cover–such a change from seeing a stunning bird depicted on the front.

Book Trailer: Until I Die by Amy Plum

I interrupt my busy evening (ha! Yeah, right!) to bring this to you. I really enjoyed Amy Plum’s Die for Me and so I’m looking forward to reading its sequel Until I Die. And I’m a lover of book trailers so I was quite excited to see Amy post a link to the Until I Die book trailer. Even more excited still to get there and discover a credible cast had been chosen for Vincent & Kate.

Anyhoo, I’ll stop waffling now. Here’s the trailer for you to check out:

So … whatcha thunk? You like?

Book Trailer: Crux by Julie Reece

I’m VERY excited about the upcoming release of Crux by Julie Reece. So I’m also VERY excited to share the book trailer with you all.

Before I do, here’s a little about the book:

She should have run. Now, she’ll have to fight.

Eighteen year old Birdie may be homeless, but she’s surviving, that is until a mysterious guy throws money in the air like a crazy game show host, and she grabs some with the idea she’ll be able to buy dinner that night.

In that singular moment, unassuming Birdie becomes the girl in everyone’s viewfinder. Thugs want to kill her. Money-guy wants to recruit her. The very hot, very rich, and very out of her league Grey Mathews wants to save her.

Birdie, though, wants nothing to do with any of them, until she realizes fate didn’t bring them all together.

Her heritage did.

Now, with only twenty-one days left, she’s got to decide whether to follow in the footsteps of those before her or risk her life for people she’s only just met.

Isn’t that cover awesome? Absolutely love it!
